Sawubona! Join us as we prepare to spend seven months in the “Rainbow Nation” of South Africa. Our destination is Pietermartizburg in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. We will be leaving the pastoral confines of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia preparing to immerse ourselves into a country of stunning beauty with a complex history and culture.
I am a Fulbright Scholar and will be teaching a nanotechnology course at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in the School of Chemistry.

It’s great to hear from both of you. Aunt Ruth and I are packing for our trip to Key West. It’s a 6 day cruise leaving from Jacksonville. She’s having some BP problems and I hope that doesn’t ruin everything. Love, Mom and Dad
